2026 Law Day Celebration

The Hunterdon County Bar Association sponsored a Law Day event on Wednesday, May 7th from 5:00-7:00 PM at Bundt Park in Clinton Township. The theme for the 2026 Law Day was “The Rule of Law and the American Dream,” celebrating the idea that no person is above the law and that is what ensures the rights of the people to live their lives as freely as possible and to pursue their dreams.

Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée M. Robeson, and David Culley, Esq., Superintendent, Veteran’s Haven North of, Co-chairs of the Hunterdon County Bar Association Law Day Committee, along with Christopher Vaccaro, Esq., of Kearns Rotolo Law welcomed all in attendance and explained the significance of Law Day and this year’s topic. The event featured a panel discussion entitled “The Rule of Law & Pathways to the American Dream: Identifying Barriers to Justice”.  The Hunterdon County Bar Association recognized the Mock Trial teams, and presented their 2026 Mock Trial scholarships to Saanvi Sachin and Albert Fung from North Hunterdon High School, Jazyln Collins and Christian Ventura from Voorhees High School, and Eva Graziano and Meagan Kemunto from Hunterdon Central Regional High School.

After refreshments, the program concluded with an activity that embodies the “American Dream” as members participated in a softball game.

The Law Day program is cosponsored by the New Jersey State Bar Foundation and made possible through funding from IOLTA Fund of the Bar of New Jersey.
